His passion for art was evident early on. Hotz attended a school of arts and studied at a vocational school for design in Germany. His experience as a rider has sparked his enthusiasm for horses, which he has been channelling with great devotion and intuition into his sophisticated equine art for many years now.

Whatever the medium is – oil on canvas, watercolour, pencil or pastels – not only because of the use of only the best materials available, but also because of the time Michael Hotz invests into his art, the result is equine art of the highest quality – loved by people around the world.
